Privacy
We collect as little as we can and say exactly what. No tracking cookies, no advertising networks, and we never sell data.
When you visit
The site runs on Cloudflare, which handles every request, as any web host does, and keeps short-lived logs we use to find errors.
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views and measure how fast pages load for real visitors. It sets no cookies and doesn’t identify or follow you across sites; it records the page, where the visit came from (the referring site), the browser and device type, the country, and loading times. We use it to find slow or broken pages. About Cloudflare Web Analytics
Links out to banks and card issuers
When you follow a link to a product, it passes through our own address (/go/), and we count the click: which product, from which part of the page, and whether it was a partner offer. We don’t record your IP address or set a cookie. Partner offers are labelled where they appear; if you apply through one, the partner may set its own cookies under its own policy. How we make money
Our API
For each API request we count the key (or “no key”), the endpoint, the result and how long it took. Not your IP address, not what you sent.
If you make an account
An account is optional. It keeps your bonus tracker, the cards and accounts you’ve told the planner you’ve had, and the planner’s numbers, so they’re the same on every device, and the passkey you sign in with (its public key: the private key never leaves your device). It keeps an email address only if you add one, for reminders before your bonus deadlines, which you can turn off from any reminder. Signing in sets two cookies: one that keeps you signed in for 30 days (we store only a scrambled form of it) and one that tells the page you’re signed in. They’re used for nothing else. Delete the account from its page and everything it keeps is deleted at once.
Search
When you search on the site, we keep the words you typed (the first 80 characters), how we read them (the chips shown under the box) and which result you opened, with the data release of the day. Not your IP address, not a cookie, not anything that identifies you. We use it to see what people look for and what we can’t answer yet.
What stays in your browser
The cards you pick to compare, the bonuses you track, the dates you enter in the bonus eligibility checker and, for the length of a visit, the last product whose bank page you opened (so we can offer to track its bonus when you come back) are kept in your browser’s own storage, on your device. They never reach us, unless you sign in to an account: then the tracker, what you’ve had and the planner’s numbers are kept in it too (above). Clearing your browser’s site data removes them.
Email alerts
If you ask for alerts about a card, we keep your email address, the cards you follow and when you confirmed, to send those alerts and nothing else. We store the address under a one-way code, send only after you confirm by email, and every alert has a one-click link to stop them, which deletes your address. Our email provider sends the messages for us and may not use your address for anything else.
